Lindsay was born and raised in Oshawa and has lived in the area his entire life. He began his career as a realtor in 1985 and succeeded in attaining his broker’s license in 1994. Within the first 3 years, Lindsay was recognized as one of the top sales representatives on the Oshawa and District Real Estate Board (now called the Durham Region Association of Realtors). During the “boom” market of the 1980’s Lindsay learned the techniques used in a brisk Sellers market to help both Sellers and Buyers negotiate the best results. These skills lay dormant as the local market in the 1990’s slowed down, and Lindsay used his honed negotiation experience to help sellers sell their homes in a challenging market leading into the 2000’s.These skills are back in use again today as our market explodes with numbers of sales we have not seen before.Lindsay became the owner of Re/Max Reflection in 1994 and along with his partner ran the highest production real estate company in the Oshawa area until 1999. Lindsay decided that his true love was working with Buyer’s and Sellers and sold his company staying with the brand until 2010.In 1999 Lindsay was recruited by Howard Brinton of Starpower Real Estate Training Organization to speak to realtors across North America on how to negotiate, market and best serve Buyers and Sellers.
